VpCI-611 Hydro Testing / Flash Rust Preventative 5 Gal.
VpCI-611 is a water-based rust preventive concentrate for water blasting, wet abrasive blasting, hydro testing, fire sprinkler water systems, or preservation. It leaves a very thin, transparent, tack-free barrier on metal surfaces. VpCI-611 is non-toxic, environmentally friendly and contains no nitrite nor phosphate inhibitors. VpCI-611 is safe, economical to use and easy to dispose of. The film is weldable and will not cause toxic fumes during welding. VpCI-611 contains contact and vapor phase corrosion inhibitors capable of protecting uncoated surfaces. VpCI treatment can be removed from the metal surface with water or any conventional washing procedure. In most cases, VpCI-611 need not be removed prior to painting or coating.
PACKAGING AND STORAGE: This product is packaged in 5 gallon (19 liter) pails. VpCI-611 is also available in 55 gallon (208 liter) drums, liquid totes and bulk. Store VpCI-611 in a heated warehouse to avoid freezing.
SHELF LIFE: Up to 24 months.
NOTE: Always dilute VpCI-611 with potable water. VpCI-611 is not suitable for yellow metals (i.e. copper, brass).
